The crew of the Soviet ship “Berdyansk”, delivering ore to San Francisco, spotted at night a burning American cargo ship. The Russian sailors evacuated the crew, and the rescued Americans stated that, allegedly, they were attacked by a Soviet submarine. Soon the “Berdyansk” was captured by Philippine gangsters. Both the Russians and Americans were brought to a secret base and incarcerated in an island’s dungeon.
