The movie takes place at a charity event at a country house during which a series of people try to talk an oligarch into giving money for a project. Masha, a young attractive woman, has been invited as a possible lure for the oligarch, and she has brought with her a casual acquaintance, Nick, a Russian living in the United States, who films the party for a documentary project.
