After the events of Halo 4, the UNSC Infinity re-deploys to the Forerunner world of Requiem. When the discovery of an ancient Forerunner artifact leads Captain Lasky to bring in the infamous Doctor Catherine Halsey to study it, tensions rise between her and the crew. The fanatical Covenant leader Jul M'dama seeks to exploit those tensions.
