This BAFTA-nominated documentary commemorates the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, one of the largest civil-rights rallies in the history of the United States. The documentary recounts how the march began, giving voice to the people who organised and participated in it. Rarely seen footage reveals the events building up to the march, and the wall of opposition from the JFK administration, the FBI, whites, and the mass media.
