A young hunter, Leo, gets involved in a feud between a sleazy secretary and the kind-hearted Jennae. The secretary desperately tries to charm Jennae with an expensive piece of jewelry. However, Jennae simply donates it to her cousin before he leaves. When the scorned secretary discovers this, he demands that Jennae wear the piece of jewelry that evening. Dr. Sharp and his wife, Gretchen, live happily together in a little western town until the advent of the doctor's brother, Fred, who comes from the east to spend his vacation near his brother.

Just as the bead clerk and his assistants are closing up the jewelry store for the day, a package containing a very costly necklace arrives by special messenger.
A lazy sculptor squanders his advance and has to think outside the box to meet his deadline. At short notice, the sculptor has received the task of carving a copy of the famous statue “The Swimmer”.
