This comedy tells the story of a wealthy young woman pursued by two opportunistic men interested in her fortune, while she is already in love with an honorable suitor. Set in early 20th-century Lima, the film is an important milestone in Peruvian cinema because it marked the beginning of narrative filmmaking in the country. Although the film is now considered lost, it remains a key reference in the history of Peruvian film
