In 1913 the Greek government commissioned nonfiction/actuality films as part of its diplomatic efforts to obtain a favorable adjudication from the Great Powers regarding the final status of Ottoman territories captured by the Greek Army during the First and Second Balkan Wars. Starting in late 1913, these films screened internationally, including in the US. The most widely released title was With the Greeks in the Firing Line which arrived in the US in early 1914. Based on a nitrate print from the film’s American release the UCLA Film and Television Archive restored and digitized With the Greeks in 2013 along with a second, shorter actuality of the same provenance.

Broncho Billy is in love with Agnes Shephard. The jealousy of the step-sister Evelyn arouses in her a scheme which, if carried out, would result in the breaking of the engagement.
Lizette loves Jean but a 10,000 franc dowry insisted upon by Jean's father is keeping them apart. Paul, Lizette's "black sheep" brother, begs that she gives him her saved money so he can increase it for her - at the gaming table!! He does win but there are a few who are determined he shall not reach home with his money.
The supposition was that she was born a tease, for from her first teeth to the time she was almost grown, she vented her witcheries on her unsuspecting parents and the wild things of her mountain home.
