Our Prisoners of War Return Trailer (1919)

Arrival of war veterans at Wetzlar train station. The soldiers are greeted by a crowd at the station. As the train arrives from Cologne, the former prisoners of war, who came not only from the city of Wetzlar but from the entire district, probably came from France. A military band from the Reichswehr welcomes the arrivals, and women hand out flowers. A flag reads: "It is finished." A field kitchen near the station provides food for the returnees.
