Documentary that narrates the excursion of a hundred and a half people to the towns of Quiriguá and Río Dulce, organized by the then newly founded Geography and History Society of Guatemala. Shot by the Matheu production company, dedicated to local news programs, it offers interesting images of sites of great archaeological interest.

The film was created as a compilation of footage that was, in some cases, nearly fifteen years old, and included stock footage such as medical reels containing footage of venereal diseases and films depicting white slavery.
