Just before the scheduled electrocution of stockbroker Kenneth Avery for the murder of Mazie Lawrence, Nan Perry makes one last plea to the governor for a stay of execution and relates the incidents that led to Mazie's death.
A carousel barker falls in love with a young woman. Both are fired from their jobs, and when the young woman becomes pregnant, the carousel barker tries to help pull off a robbery, which goes wrong.
In that "cute" beginning, we see some funny sight gags with our hero serenading his girl down south in Mexico, strumming his guitar in a unique matter and then literally getting "cold feet.
