A newsreel from the 1940s depicts the inauguration of the Lima Gallery, a permanent exhibition and sales space for works of art, organized by Mr. Francisco Moncloa, the gallery's director. Various paintings by 28 Peruvian artists were presented, and numerous artistic and journalistic figures attended. The painting of the artist Montero, by Ignacio Merino, is featured.
