"Billy Conn, The Pittsburgh Kid Himself...in a story of the boxing world. An action plus story of a Pug and his women." 29 August 1941 Drama, Action 76 mins

Unable to sign boxer Joe Louis to movie contract, Republic Pictures had to make do with the losers of Louis' heavyweight championship bouts. The story finds clean-limned pugilist Conn (playing himself) being managed by pretty Patricia Mallory.
