Brazil is perhaps the best of the handful of US films made by singing sensation Tito Guizar. In typical screwball-comedy fashion, the plot is set in motion by authoress Nicky Henderson, who has hit the best-seller charts with her latest tome, Why Marry a Latin? While researching her next book in Rio De Janeiro, she finds out "why" when she meets handsome songwriter Miguel Soares. Upon learning about Nicky's book, Miguel decides to teach her a few lessons in the affairs of the heart. Edward Everett Horton is also on hand, twittering his way through the role of a well-meaning buttinsky. Thanks to the "Good Neighbor" policy of the 1940s, South American musicals were a glut on the market, but Brazil was good enough on its own merits to pay its way at the box office.
Centered on a television station which features a 1950s-style sci-fi movie interspersed with a series of wild commercials, wacky shorts and weird specials, this lampoon of contemporary life and pop culture skewers some of the silliest spectacles ever created in the name of entertainment.
After Stanley Putterman installs a state-of-the-art satellite dish in his backyard, a strange monster leaps off the screen and needs to feed on humans for survival.
Malu, Lúcia and Maria found the ideal man to marry. Until they discover that in reality this man is the same person: Samuel, who was dating all of them over the past years.
When Dr Frankenstein decides to retire from the monster-making business, he calls an international roster of monsters to a creepy convention to elect his successor.
A shy barista stumbles upon a magical pink wig that transforms him into a fearless drag super-shero. But when a villainous queen starts kidnapping drag performers to steal their magical tears, he must step into the spotlight, embrace his power, and lip-sync for their lives in a high-flying, show-stopping battle for the ages!
Two teenagers sneak into a haunted castle on Halloween looking to have a good time. After breaking a statue in the castle, they awaken an ancient beast who teaches them a lesson about following the rules.
An old geezer recalls some of the antics of the citizens of his Western town, more wild and woolly than Tombstone or Dodge City.
