The film tells the story of how Vladimir Mayakovsky created his works. He did not need the silence of a study; he created constantly—everywhere and in any setting. The picture includes archival footage, including material from 1917, as well as Mayakovsky’s drawings. Viewers can also see the poet’s working notebook: on the left-hand pages he wrote down thoughts and images, and on the right-hand pages he shaped them into poetic lines.
In this short directed by Pietro Francisci, later known for hit swords-and-sandals titles such as 1958’s “Hercules” starring Steve Reeves, Lollobrigida appears to sing (she may have been dubbed) Italian folk song “Stornellata Romana.
Convicted killer Jim Holden is rescued from the sheriff by his gang, led by Mason and Riley. He is out to get the Hathaway Stage superintendent George Bannister, who was responsible for his conviction and learns the Bannister, his niece (Kay) and Hal Hathaway, son of the stage line owner, are on a cross-country stage.
A beautician and her crooked boyfriend attempt to rob the bookie operation located in the back room, but when the plan goes wrong, they frame an innocent man.
