The footage shows the interior of factory buildings, presumably the Ford factory in Cologne, as well as workers operating machines. Transport vehicles are being loaded. Workers read notices with information for factory employees. A woman hands margarine to a worker. The second part of the film shows a woman making a bed. Children are sleeping or lying awake in beds above which a cross is attached. A woman is washing laundry in a wash tub in front of the house. Two children are playing nearby. Children are standing at the stove waiting for soup to be ladled out to them. Bread is being sliced. Soup and bread are being prepared as a snack package (for the father?).
