The film focuses on the changing relationships between Münir, his wife Perihan, and their friend Kenan as a result of a misunderstanding. Münir is a passionate musician and composer. He does not show his compositions to anyone other than his wife Perihan and his close friend Kenan. Kenan and Perihan, who find Münir's compositions very successful, devise a plan. They submit the compositions to a composition competition without Münir's knowledge. However, when Münir learns of their secret meetings, he misinterprets the relationship.
