A boy and a girl on a trip out of town, she is left alone and gets lured by an abandoned house, the danger, a hopeless safety. There lingers an unsettling anxiety between dream and reality. A king Parthiban (Ramadas) gifts a rare anklet (salangai) to a dancer Aparajita (Kumari Madhuri). She begets the king's son, Amarendran and hands him over to a priest along with the anklet.
A triple love story between Mine (Nebahat Çehre), the owner of the farm in the deserted lake valley, and pilot Mazhar (Samim Meriç), whom she had to marry due to the threat of death in the air, and her childhood sweetheart, her aunt's son Ümit (Göksel Arsoy).
In his film attempt, Berlin cabaret artist Wolfgang Neuss strings together various sketches to create a story that deals with the division of Germany based on motifs from the Münchhausen legend.
