Gabby Gator lives in the Okeedokee Swamp. Wally's watching one of those "cook" shows on TV about how to prepare a bird for dinner. Gabby's starving so bad that he licks the TV screen, but that doesn't help. He sends a telegram to Woody: his country needs him. Woody needs to try out the new "Atlas (But Not Least) Space Rocket." Woody arrives, suitcase in hand, ready for anything- except being an alligator's dinner...
A king Parthiban (Ramadas) gifts a rare anklet (salangai) to a dancer Aparajita (Kumari Madhuri). She begets the king's son, Amarendran and hands him over to a priest along with the anklet.
Five short stories.
(1) “Czas przybliża, czas oddala” – Edward recalls his unfulfilled love for Anna and, years later, writes to her sister Zofia, mistaking her for Anna.
Raja, the son of a rich man who was cheated of his wealth by Jambu, grows up in an orphanage. He becomes a famous poet in the city with the help of Jambu's family, unaware of his past.
First World War. In a largely rural area of neutral Spain, two families confront one another and play a part in embarrassing situations because they don't support the same side in the war.
Albert, a cheeky, womanising, door-to door salesman, with a never-take-no-for-an-answer attitude, lives his life for the moment, and with no thought of his future, or the consequences of his actions on the people he encounters.
