The action of the film takes place in a provincial town in pre-revolutionary Russia. Two friends, Semka and Alyosha, decide to run away to America. The owner of the pawnshop, where the guys bring a white fluffy cat, not only accepts the amazing pledge but also helps the boys figure out their lives...
