About the Karabanovs, who continued the work of educator A.S. Makarenko. The 1930s. A tragic accident cut short the life of the Karabanovs' three-year-old son. After what happened, Semyon Afanasyevich and Galina Konstantinovna came to work at an orphanage in the Ukrainian village of Chereshenki. Children from many different places gathered here. The couple devoted all their years to these children, who did not know their parents.
