The film's hero is the city's famous barber, Mammadali. He is passionate about his profession. His clients are officials and famous people. A humorous and gentle man by nature, Mammadali has a difficult relationship with his wife. His wife is a teacher, a frivolous woman who looks down on her husband's profession... Although his wife and older son are indifferent toward him, he doesn't make a tragedy out of it; on the contrary, he tries to be understanding.
