This was the first major Malayalam movie to be shot in the USA. Soman is on his way to USA to start a new life and meets Lekshmi on the way. Soman falls in love with Lekshmi's sister. Lekshmi's brother, a gambling addict also arrives in the USA and gets trapped with debts. Linda tries to help him out.
