Marcelo is a humble taxi driver who travels the streets of Bogotá daily. On one occasion he tries to help a sick passenger, with such bad luck that the man dies. Looking for some identification¸ Marcelo opens a briefcase¸ which he finds full of money. He hesitates for a moment and decides to run away with the briefcase. The film narrates the fate of Marcelo full of guilt because of ill-gotten money.
