Carmen is a woman who lives with a bum named Mario, whom she puts up with despite the fact that he does nothing at all. One day, having run out of patience after a heated argument with him, she decides to kill him. After doing so, she gets rid of his corpse by abandoning it in a deserted area. Nine years have passed. Carmen has married and lives with her husband David and her daughter Yolanda, the result of her previous relationship. But things begin to go wrong for her. Someone tries to murder her; she miraculously escapes from these attempts, while her husband thinks they are merely fantasies of hers. One day, a man is killed in her house while she is away. From this moment on, Carmen will find herself caught up in a dangerous and bloody game with death.
