In the 1950s, Zu (Hugo Ng) neglected his beloved wife Hui (Bowie Chu) and philandered. Juan (Yin-Ming Lam) tried to win Zu back and harmed Hui. In the chaos, Zu accidentally killed Juan and framed Hui. Hui was sentenced to death and died full of resentment, vowing revenge against Zu before her death. In the 1990s, Hui was reincarnated as Ning, still haunted by her past life. She abandoned everything and traveled to Hungary to find Zu's whereabouts.
