The relationship between Reiko, the daughter of a company president, and her husband, Takashi, is cold. Takashi was originally after the company president's position and wealth, so he does not love Reiko and is busy having an affair with his secretary, Mitsuko. Mitsuko, who is more ambitious than Takashi, encourages Takashi and devises a plan to take all of his wealth.
