Footage from a newsreel was used, showing the training of employees of civil defense enterprises in wartime conditions, the elimination of the consequences of radioactive contamination after the accident at the Chornobyl NPP. Interviews are given by the Deputy Chief of Civil Defense of the USSR, Lieutenant-General M.M. Dolgin, and Lieutenant-General M.S. Bondarchuk.
