He slowly and thoughtfully turns the pages of albums with pre-revolutionary photographs, describing the simple yet pure way of life of the people of Tula in the old days: they did their work, honored their traditions, believed in God, and raised their children in this faith. The images of old Tula seem idyllic from today's perspective, as the filmmakers see it, and as it truly is.
