An omnibus of three short stories revolving around three generations of a single family. 'Hope'--The rapid developments in society are marred by political turbulance which causes Mi-ran to become a student activist and permits her brother, Jeong-min, to enter into a homosexual relationship 'Family'--Jeong-min, having grown up without a father, seeks comfort and love from other men.
