Le mystère Anquetil Trailer

Le mystère Anquetil Trailer (1997)

01 January 1997 Factual 55 mins

This portrait of Jacques Anquetil takes us on a journey beyond appearances, offering a deeper understanding and appreciation of both the sport and one of its greatest figures. The portrait of one of cycling’s most authentic champions, alongside Fausto Coppi, reveals two radically different sides of his personality: on the one hand, a cold, cautious and calculating public figure; on the other, and above all, a generous and flamboyant man in private. The film also offers a glimpse into the history of the period, taking us back to the dawn of a new era. Anquetil embodies France in the 1960s, a forerunner of modern France.
