Two brothers, Sten and Jonas, own and live on a farm near Ätran in Falkenberg. Sten has just been released from prison but continues his shady business dealings, which now include a large stock of fine cognac. It turns out that Jonas has invited two summer guests to rent the chicken coop for a week, the young woman Anna and her father Göte . Jonas falls in love with Anna, and everything becomes even more confusing when the completely idiotic neighbor Ivar Rask understands everything in his own way.
