Following the success of "The Kingdom of the Green Glade" in 1994, the producers created a sequel. The story takes place in the middle of a forest, and the Kingdom is ruled by the wise Queen Bee. The fairy-tale insects resemble human characters in both appearance and character. The story carries an ecological message, due to the fact that the action takes place in a forest.
