The Miyoshi family consists of three members: Reiko (the wife), Sugio (the husband), and Tsubaki (their son). Into this household comes Megumi—Reiko’s niece—who has traveled to Tokyo to take university entrance exams. Tsubaki has a girlfriend named Arisa.
