Rails to Trails: An American Festival Trailer (2004)

01 January 2004 Factual 83 mins

A comprehensive history of Watertown, Minnesota, and an up-close look into its annual Rails to Trails festival. "My objective is to help others, in years to come, to be grateful for all the works of love and enjoyment there is in building community, working and celebrating together, to leave this a better place for us having been here. I wanted to make sure that this story conveyed the truth of Watertown's spiritual heritage, its beauty, its unity of purpose, its good people and how wonderful it is when citizens live together in peace, under God, in this great state and nation. I hope it will bring to the to the viewer the same love and gratitude that my family and I have for Watertown. We have a rich history, let's passit on, this can be a tool to reach this goal. Thanks to the helpful supporters of this project: The Watertown Lions Club, The American Legion and the Watertown Area Historical Society." – K.J. McDonald
