Showdown in Motown was a wrestling event promoted by Ring of Honor. It took place on November 4, 2005 at the Michigan State Fairgrounds & Expo Center in Detroit, Michigan. ROH’s debut in Detroit, the main event saw Bryan Danielson being challenged for the ROH World Championship by TNA wrestler and Detroit's native Chris Sabin.
This was the first use of the WarGames: The Match Beyond match conceived by Dusty Rhodes. Rhodes was on the winning side in both events along with the Road Warriors, Nikita Koloff and Paul Ellering.
