During the late Ming Dynasty, warrior Wang Liulang rescues a kidnapped woman, Xiaoyu, but is forced to flee after her captor, Cai Dexing, gains imperial protection. Returning as spirits, they sabotage Cai’s evil schemes until he meets his downfall. With justice served, they are reborn to reunite in a new life.
