A nuclear catastrophe has wiped out all life on Earth. Four families have survived, finding refuge in fallout shelters providentially built in their backyards. The survivors communicate with each other via a satellite audio/video connection and spend their days hoping that someone else has survived the nuclear holocaust and will contact them.
