Documentary film of a detailed visit of the Sainte-Chapelle, reliquary of the crown of Christ and masterpiece of Saint-Louis. A first part of 35 minutes focuses on the architectural aspect: General architecture La Chapelle Basse La Chapelle Haute The second (35 minutes) resumes and explains in detail nearly a hundred of the most beautiful stained glass windows in the Chapel. The New Testament in the abyss The Old Testament in the nave The apocalypse in the great Rose and the exceptional glass roof of the relics, key to reading the glazed program. An interview (12 minutes) with Mrs. F. Perrot, Research Director at the CNRS, enlightens us on various historical, political and religious aspects of the time. Finally, an anthology of views of reconstructions of Paris in the Middle Ages (3 minutes views in Roots and wings) makes us discover the Palais de la Cité and the Sainte-Chapelle.
