Films featuring Danuta and Andrzej Gliwicz have been seen by 400 million viewers. The most surprising fact, however, is that they are not celebrities from newspaper front pages, but… extras in Bollywood. The residents of the village of Skolanowska Wola in the Kielce region discovered their great passion only after retiring. Every year they travel to India and work on the sets of large-scale film productions. The Gliwiczs already have several films to their credit and are valued for portraying European characters. Meanwhile, in their home village, their “second life” goes completely unnoticed even by their closest neighbors, for whom working in Bombay and in London is one and the same.
