В современном прочтении сказки авторы знакомят зрителя с независимой и строптивой бизнес-леди Дарьей Кравец, которую "затащить в ЗАГС можно только в состоянии комы". Но после встречи в лесу с простым лесником она не может обмануть свое сердце и влюбляется в него, совершенно не подозревая, что её возлюбленный - олигарх.
