From THE ROUTE we can find out how far a person can go to get what is rightfully his. Eddie, a high school track star with dreams of a career in the F.B.I. is facing hard times. After finding out that his scholarship doesn’t pay for his tuition fully, he must find a job in order to pay for his education. Eddie becomes a runner for a local warehouse. Soon he befriends a drug addict (Club) and falls for a pretty flight attendant (Ebony). One day while making some deliveries Eddie stumbles upon a briefcase that could change his life forever. Now with the feds and a notorious underworld leader on his back, Eddie must make the right choices in order to save his own life. Will Eddie’s decision rescue him from the hands of despair or will the route he chose be his demise?
