What happened in East Berlin in 1968? There was a Kommune 1 here too. Wolf Biermann recorded the famous record "Chausseestr. 131" in his apartment and there was also plenty to discuss in East Berlin. And a breath of fresh air also came from the south: neighboring Czechoslovakia experienced its "Prague Spring".
