Ling River Shadow Play Practitioners Trailer (2008)

Two families who make their living as shadow puppeteers in western Liaoning, near the Ling River, have a long-running feud over their ongoing competition for the Shadow Play King of Rehe in this drama from China. But when Japanese invaders force them to build a bridge over the river, the rival families finally bond over their shared hatred of the enemy. The Chaoyang Drama Troupe of the Liaoning People's Art Theatre performs this historical play.
