The DVD documents The Cinematic Orchestra's concert at the Barbican in London on 6 May 2007. That was the day before the band's album Ma Fleur came out (7 May 2007). Ma Fleur is the group's fourth full-length release and third proper studio album. Jason Swinscoe produced it on Ninja Tune. The Barbican show was a performance of the new album. Heidi Vogel sang on the night, and Swinscoe introduced her during the first disc of the audio recording. Track titles aren't printed on the packaging of the audio release, so the ones listed online come from Swinscoe's announcements or from the studio albums. The final piece is said to be a cover of Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring".
When a disc containing memoirs of a former CIA analyst falls into the hands of gym employees, Linda and Chad, they see a chance to make enough money for Linda to have life-changing cosmetic surgery.
Violinist Sydney Wells was accidentally blinded by her sister Helen when she was five years old. She submits to a cornea transplantation, and while recovering from the operation, she realizes that she is seeing dead people.
Chosen by prophecy but doubted by all, Po is an unlikely choice for the mystical title of the Dragon Warrior—a clumsy panda thrust into the world of kung fu as a deadly enemy threatens the Valley of Peace.
A woman takes a man she just met at a nightclub to a hotel, so they can have a one-night stand, but things start to get complicated when he asks her to spend the night with him so they can have a chance to know about each other between the sheets.
Chris Jackson is a taxi driver with a childhood trauma. The trauma has made him a portal for obsessions to pass from the mind to the physical world and hence disrupt the world's multiple planes of reality.
