In the sun-drenched town of Santa Paz, a bitter altercation erupts between Commander Rivera, the proud guardian of his community, and a powerful millionaire whose influence stretches far beyond wealth. At the heart of their conflict is a captivating woman, whose presence ignites rivalries, tests loyalties and ultimately drives Rivera to make a reckless wager that places the very future of his town on the line. Just as the tension threatens to consume Santa Paz, Jim Duarte, a drifter with a shadowed past and a strong sense of justice. Drawn into Rivera’s escalating conflict, Jim finds himself facing hostile locals, corrupt power, and violent schemes. Though he never sought trouble, Santa Paz forces him to choose to stand by Rivera in his desperate struggle or walk away and let the town fall into ruin.
