"VINOTINTO -- THE MOVIE" tells the story of the venezuelan soccer team from their early failure to qualify for the 2002 and the 2006 World Cup to their surprising performances in the qualifying round for the 2010 tournament in South Africa. The film documents the efforts of the Vinotinto to achieve their dream against all odds and the transformation of the players, the team's head coach, and all the country that occurs along the way. We accompany the venezuelan underdog through the qualifying round, competing against the best teams in South America, including World Cup champions Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil and we join the euphoria of the fans as they motivate the players with their chant of "Yes, we can! Yes, we can!"
Aliens land in South Africa and, with their ship totally disabled, have no way home. Years later, after living in a slum and wearing out their welcome the 'Non-Humans' are being moved to a new tent city overseen by Multi-National United (MNU).
When reporter Jean Craddock interviews Bad Blake -- an alcoholic, seen-better-days country music legend -- they connect, and the hard-living crooner sees a possible saving grace in a life with Jean and her young son.
