The grandmother uses the child as cheap labor in her guesthouse. Fortunately, there is also her clever grandfather, who knows how to outwit his strict grandmother. Samantha also meets Beni, who is spending his holidays with his grandmother in the same village. Beni befriends Samantha and, like her grandfather, brings some joy into her dreary everyday life.
