Inexperienced but determined to live life on her own terms, young Alex secretly leaves her small town in upstate New York and journeys to New York City with her best friend in hopes of being cast as a dancer in a big show. She is soon confronted with reality, where nothing is as it seems, and her journey becomes an intense exploration of her most undisclosed desires and fantasies that will change her life forever.
