Hollywood, 1927. The talkies have just been born and the big movie studios, responding to the demand of millions of Spanish speakers, begin to produce Spanish versions of their most ambitious productions. It is when a group of Spanish directors, screenwriters and actors decide to settle in Los Angeles in order to make a name for themselves among the biggest stars.
The fat knight Sir John Falstaff imagines that Mistress Ford and Mistress Page are both taken with him and so, attracted as much by their husbands’ money as their personal charms, he decides to woo them both.
To win the celebrity and self-made wealth he craves, an aimless, twenty-something Manhattan playboy devises a film based on his party-boy, club-going lifestyle, and hires a self-destructive aspiring playwright to ghost the feature script.
When Jack crosses paths with a woman from his past, he's not sure if it's love...or if she's a ruthless con artist using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth.
