Yu-Hua and Guo-Wei are the perfect couple, inseparable in both work and life. When Guo-Wei proposes, Yu-Hua happily accepts, believing she has found her true partner. But the news devastates Yu-Hua’s closest friend, Shun-Fang, who has secretly loved Guo-Wei for years. When her long-hidden secret is finally revealed, the unimaginable happens—Guo-Wei reciprocates her affection. Bound by desire, a weak-willed man and a woman willing to betray her dearest friend embark on a passionate affair. As guilt and longing consume them, their choices set off a chain of betrayal that destroys Yu-Hua’s marriage and sends all three spiraling toward tragedy.
